The Young European Federalists (JEF Europe) is a political youth NGO advocating for the creation of a democratic European federation as a guarantee for peace, the rule of law, and human rights.
Established in 1972, we work for the widening and deepening of the European Union, striving for a more just and integrated society on the European continent and beyond.
We believe that Europeans can achieve long-term peace and prosperity if they work together. Following the motto "Simply a generation ahead", we want Europe to complete the integration process started after World War II to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
We reject the centralized "super-state." The federal model we promote is based on subsidiarity—keeping power at local and national levels whenever possible. The Federation solves problems that require a pan-European approach, such as climate protection and international security.
Demonstrations and campaigns to raise awareness of European affairs among the public.
Collaboration with organisations, institutions, and decision-makers across the spectrum.
Publishing online magazines and press releases where pro-European youth can voice their opinions.
Seminars and courses about European affairs for our members and interested activists.
International meetings fostering contacts and friendships between young Europeans.
Promoting true European citizenship through workshops in schools and universities.
